Super Beef Roast
1/4 cup kosher salt
1/2 cup Vegeta
1/2 cup brown sugar
12 garlic cloves, crushed
1 large onion, cut into wedgies
4 celery stalks, cut into fourths
1 fresh ginger root, cut into circles
1/2 tablespoon coriander seeds
1/2 tablespoon cumin seeds
1/2 tablespoon dill seeds
1/2 tablespoon fennel seeds
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 tablespoon dry sage
1 tablespoon dry basil
Preparations start the evening before.
Directions for preparing brine:
Close tightly and let it rest in the fridge over night or for at least 8 hours.
Next day preheat the oven to 425*F.
In a hot skillet with oil, brow the beef on all sides.
