Fallen Apple Cocktail
1/4 red apple, cored, peeled and cut into small pieces
2 1/2 ounces bourbon
1 once simple syrup
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 ounces fresh pressed apple juice
Apple slice, for garnish
Cinnamon stick, for garnish (optional)
Add a good amount of ice to a lowball glass and set aside.
Using a cocktail shaker add the diced apple, bourbon, simple syrup, sugar and lemon juice. Use a muddler to muddle the apples and mash-up as much as possible.
Add the apple juice and a handful of ice. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds. Strain in the prepared cocktail glass. Garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon.
