Carrot Potage with Prosciutto-Wrapped Breadsticks
6 Garlic Cloves
1 Dried Bay Leaf
1 Small Onion
4 cups Chicken Stock
1 sprig Thyme
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
½ cup Water
3 Grissini / Breadsticks
3 slices Parma Ham
Prepare garlic, onions, thyme leaves, and bay leaves. Set aside.
Prepare carrots and potatoes by removing skin and steaming the vegetables.
Add vegetables and water into blender. Blend well.
Heat oil and butter, and sauté garlic and onion till fragrant.
Add garlic and onion into blender and continue to blend.
Transfer to pot. Add chicken stock, bay leaf, thyme leaves and salt. Stir well and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Wrap a slice of parma ham around each grissini. Serve your Carrot Potage piping hot with these Prosciutto-Wrapped Breadsticks.
