2 to 3 heads of garlic (approximately 1 cup of cloves)
1 1/2 cups olive oil
Step 1: Peel the whole garlic cloves and set aside.
Step 2: Heat the the olive oil in a medium sauce pan over low heat. Add the whole garlic cloves and allow to gently simmer for 1 hour or until cloves are golden brown.
Step 3: Pour the confit garlic into a sealable glass jar and let cool. Once completely cool, store in the fridge.
