Baked peaches and cream from Living the Gourmet are an easy summer dessert. Fresh summer peaches are slathered with honey and marmalade and baked until bubbly. Instead of traditional whipped cream, these peaches are topped with rich homemade vanilla ice cream. You can also make this dessert with other summer stone fruit including nectarines and plums.
5 ripe peaches, pitted
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon mixed berry marmalade
2 tablespoons butter, cubed
For ice cream:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
A pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup heavy cream, whipped with a tablespoon of confectioners sugar
