Dr. Mehmet Oz has shared his own formula for losing weight in a fast and healthy way. The doc shared a day's worth of meals and ensures if you follow the plan for three days, you'll lose three pounds.
"Each recipe is packed with ingredients to maximize your fat loss," reads The Dr. Oz Show website. "Make sure you eat each meal at the same time every day. That will keep cortisol levels low, which helps to bust fat even better!"
The plan starts off with breakfast of a Tex-Mex Egg and Cheese Muffin with avocado slices, a hearty lunch of a Double Bean Burger With a Belly-Blasting Bun. For dinner, Dr. Oz suggests drinking a Lean Green Supper Shake.
"You should consume the least amount of calories at dinner time. This shake will burn fat and help to build lean muscle," he said.
Lean Green Supper Shake
3 cups of green veggies – kale, spinach, chopped romaine, celery
1/2 green apple
2 cups of ice
1 scoop vanilla whey powder
3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
Combine all in a blender and blend well. Pour into glass, garnish with a celery stick or slices of green apple. Enjoy!
