Tropical Grilled Chicken Kebabs

The summer grilling season is in full swing.  These chicken kebabs are a perfect way to continue honoring the grill.  They are full of flavor and are easy to make.  The pineapple juice imparts a tropical flavor.  Moreover, it adds sweetness and helps to tenderize the chicken.  If you are partial to dark meat, feel free to substitute with chicken legs and thighs.  Serve these tasty kebabs with a fresh green salad and some white rice to soak up that delicious marinade.

Tropical Grilled Chicken Kebabs


3 whole chicken breasts

1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks

¾ teaspoon garlic powder

¾ teaspoon ginger

1 tablespoon brown sugar

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ cup vegetable oil
